OUR STORY
Roots firmly grounded in scientific time technology
Our story starts with Richard Hoptroff, the company’s Co-founder and Chief Time Officer.
In 2015, with talk of legislative changes, Richard saw a systemic shift on the horizon. He knew that businesses would struggle to synchronise digital systems at scale.
They needed an easy way to access secure, resilient, accurate time – without specialist expertise or complex hardware to manage. A way to simply plug in to a global timing network.
And so, Smart Timing was born.
